Zephyr is a versatile ensemble featuring baroque-era wind and string instruments with harpsichord. The ensemble focuses on the rich repertoire of baroque music from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
This concert features their German baroque repertoire, music by J.S. Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann, who were not only professional colleagues but also close personal friends. Members of Zephyr are William Thauer, baroque oboe & recorder; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba and treble viol; and Beverly Biggs, harpsichord.
